Making the Write Moves

I told you last week that I was ready to get to work making my dream a reality.  Well, I've been making some moves toward one part of my dream:  writing.

It's easy to dream.  For years I dreamed about my dream house, on my dream farm, becoming fabulously wealthy from writing my dream books while being a genteel farmer. 

Living Room

I love Saturday mornings here on the farm.  I rise with the sun, instead of the clock, stumble my way through the kitchen to the living room, which is so aptly named.

Rainy Day Epiphanies

It's a rainy February morning here on the farm, and I've not seen this much water since the winter we built our house.  The ditches I hand-dug are spilling over; the culvert under the driveway is gamely trying to direct the water to the future stock pond location.  It's so quiet I can hear the occasional meadowlark complaining about the rain.  He'll be singing a new tune when the water subsides enough for him to snatch up the insects surfacing to escape the boggy dirt.
